Stricker's PLN
The Professional Learning Network that I made for my school was through the website Edmodo. Edmodo is a social learning community for teachers, students, and parents to communicate and collaborate with one another. My Edmodo group specifically includes the staff of my school, General John Stricker Middle. This group is broken up into folders of specific content areas. In each of the folders I included resources like websites, blogs, twitter pages, etc. that corresponded to that content area. This way teachers in my school could click on their subject area's folder and access all of these resources. Teachers also have the ability to add new resources that they found, as well as comment on the resources that I already provided.
